President Donald Trump on Tuesday appeared to counsel that the White Home might refuse to adjust to a slew of requests for paperwork despatched this week by Home Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler, N.Y.
Talking at a White Home occasion, Trump cited what he stated was the Obama administration’s strategy to dealing with doc requests associated to Congressional investigations: “They did not give one letter. They did not do something. They did not give one letter of the requests,” Trump stated.
Trump’s remark got here at some point after the president sounded a way more conciliatory word, telling reporters on Monday that he “cooperates with everyone.”
